Senior Mentoring & Other Mentoring Programs

Senior Mentoring

Get swept up in SYEP, our Senior to Youth Engagement Project, a new opportunity for those age 55 and older to help positively impact local youth by becoming a senior Big Brother or Sister.

Senior mentors can choose from any of our three mentoring streams, our one-to-one traditional Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring (once weekly year-round), in-school one-to-one mentoring (once weekly only during the school year) or co-teaching a small group of students about healthy lifestyles in our shorter term (several months) Go Girls or Game On group mentoring programs.

Your commitment is flexible. If you plan to travel or spend the summer at the cottage, you can still be a committed mentor. As with all our programs, training is provided.
