Thanks to Eric and his staff for organizing the Cones for Kids Fundraiser in Support of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Marble Slab Creamery held a campain during the end of August, "Cones For Kids" and raised an amazing $369 to support the BBBS agency programs. All proceeds raised in each community from this National event went to each community Big Brother Big Sister agency. Way to GO KINGSTON!!!
Thanks to the Haunted Walk of Kingston
In September 2011 the staff and management from the Haunted Walk of Kingston made a donation to the agency of $189.70 from a walk event they held in July.

$5,000 transforms a life -this gift helps us make and support a match for 3 years
$1,500 matches a child in our community with a Big Brother/Big Sister for 1` year
$1,500 enables the agency to run a Go Girls or Game on group for 7 weeks with 10-12 boys or girls
$500 will supply an activity bin for the In-School Mentoring program, currently running in 23 schools
$50 helps kees kids safe. This gift pays for the child safety program we deliver to each child and volunteer in our program.
Every gift matters, at any level. The kids we serve can't tell the difference beetween a large and small donation - they just know someone cared enough to help.
Today Anthony has a lot more confidence and he smiles all the time. he gets decent grades and playground fights are essentially in the past. Having a male role model who believes in him has boosted his self-esteem. (Quote from mom, Leslie)
You can help too! You can help raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters too by holding your own Third Party Event. A Third Party Event can be any type of event you would like to plan. Your event can range from a bake sale, craft sale, or barbeque to a golf tournament, a walk or run! The best part is, the money you raise will go directly to help children in our community!
