How Do I Enroll my Child in the Program

BIG BROTHERS/BIG SISTERS TRADITIONAL PROGRAM AND
COUPLES FOR KIDS
Little Brothers and Little Sisters are between the ages of 6 and 16 and living in a single parent home or living with another care provider, like a grandparent or maybe in a foster home.

How Do I sign up?
Parents/guardians contact the office who will send out an application form.
Once the application is sent back to the office the staff will set up an appoinment to meet with you and find out about your son/daughter. This information will be used to ensure that the child will benefit from the program and is matched to a suitable volunteer.

IN-SCHOOL MENTORING
Big Brothers Big Sisters is parnterned with several schools within the district. School personnel are apporached when a mentor is available to be matched in their school. They select a special young boy or girl who would benefit from a friendship with a Mentor at the school.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
You can ask the school if your child can be put on the list for a potential In-School Mentor or you can call the Big Brother Big Sister office on your own.
The staff at the office, will work with the school, to have nessary permission to particiapte forms for your child to be involved in this program. Once these forms are returned by you to the school they will be sent on to us and then a match can begin.
GO Girls
Big Brothers Big Sisters has partnered with a number of local schools in the community to offer this 7 week after school program and is for girls specifically in grades 7 & 8.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Sign up for this program is done through the schools. You can wait for the school to send you out a pamphlet or call the school to see if they are offering the program. The school will have you complete a permission to participate form which will come back to the Big Brother Big Sister agency.
